Modern leisure hub in central Canterbury
The newly upgraded Kingsmead Leisure Centre showcases a state-of-the-art gym, modern fitness studios, a carefully designed health suite, refurbished changing facilities, an improved swimming pool, and a completely new sports hall. This significant redevelopment has reimagined the centre as a vibrant, contemporary and inclusive hub, purpose-built to encourage active lifestyles and enhance the health and wellbeing of the Canterbury community well into the future.
The project utilised a combination of linear luminaires, as well as bespoke RGBW colour changing accent illumination, within the PROTEUS and ASTERIOS systems, allowing the client to have full and synchronous control of the output.
