KALYPSO LED is an anti-ligature luminaire which in laymen’s terms mean it’s been designed in such a way that it is resistant to tying rope or chord around it and is very difficult to open up without the correct tools. Needless to say it is aimed at the type of environments where vulnerable people may be staying such as detention centres, prisons and other secure facilities. Ordinarily luminaires of this type carry a high premium however KALYPSO LED is not only sensibly priced, but has many optional features like anti tamper screws, a high IP44 rating and an IK rating of 10.
